Good afternoon!!!

I wanted to give everyone an update on Hurricane Nicole Preparations and the status of the storm.

The storm is predicted to hit our region but will mainly be north in the St Lucie and Indian River County. However, we will feel the effects of this storm as it is very large. We will experience quite a bit of rain and tropical force winds. The northern part of Palm Beach County will feel higher wind then the southern parts of the County according to the National Hurricane Center.

All requests for service to have their home secured have been taken care of and now it is time to wait out the storm.  Our office will be open tomorrow but we will not be sending crews out on the road as we are expecting high wind gusts and heavy rain.  If there is an emergency that you are experiencing in regard to the storm, please call the office or reach out to me as I will be monitoring my email all day long.

As of this writing the storm is 170 miles east of our coast.

On Friday morning we will be sending crews to open homes that were closed and begin any cleanup process as well as attend to emergencies that have been called into the office.

We will be updating our website with any updates.  You can also track the storm at The National Hurricane Center website by clicking here.

I have sent the staff home so they can take care of their homes and prepare for the storm. They will be waiting it out like all of us.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the storm, please feel free to email me and I will respond back to the best of my ability.

I hope everyone stays safe and finds a good movie to watch!!

Thanks

Chip
