Over the last 4 months, we have seen a steady increase in gasoline prices. The rising prices have been difficult for individuals and is also concerning to us as a business. In order to get to our clients homes to provide any services we use our company vehicles.
We had been hoping that the pricing would not sustain; but they have and it seems as if they may continue to increase. GHMS did not want to increase the pricing of our services because when gas prices decrease it would not be fair to our clients.
In order to cover the company’s increase in costs; we are implementing a fuel surcharge on each work order in the amount of $3.50. If and when fuel prices go down to the level they were at in June of this year, we will stop charging the fuel surcharge.
Here are two articles for information on the price surges: Local 10 News & Palm Beach Post
We hope that you understand our position on this matter.
Thank you,
