We Are In The Height of Hurricane Season!

We are in the height of hurricane season. As you can see from the picture, the tropics are presently quiet but this does not mean we are not watching them closely and ensuring we are ready to go into action if a storm rolls off the coast of Africa.

Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30. If you are wondering when peak hurricane season in Florida is, most activity is seen August through October, where 96 percent of the major hurricane days occur from August to October, according to NOAA.
