Tropical Storm Erika Update

It now appears that the storm is moving west. This is a drastic change from the forecast just 2 days ago when the storm was headed directly for Palm Beach County. This projection is based on the 5:00 AM report from the National Hurricane Center. The west coast of Florida at this time appears to be going to take the brunt of the storm and our region will just experience rain and some wind. Storms can always move, but at this time based on the reports we are stopping our hurricane action plan.

We will still be watching the storm closely and if anything changes we will inform you immediately. Click here to follow the path of the storm.
